Create a Multidimensional Table

You can directly create a multidimensional table page in the left directory tree; or in an existing page, create a new one through the + menu.

In the + menu, the multidimensional table area marked as a view page is in the title format; the unmarked ones are in the embedded multidimensional table format, which can directly display the multidimensional table content.

Essentially, both formats are multidimensional table pages. Therefore, when it is located in a page (i.e., this multidimensional table is a subpage of a page), you can find the "Convert to Embed" or "Convert to Page" in the ⋮⋮ menu to switch the display. If you have created an independent multidimensional table and want to embed it in a page, you can move the multidimensional table to this page and convert it to an embedded multidimensional table through the ⋮⋮ menu.

1.1 Title Format

Only displays a simple entrance, click to enter and view the page content.

For example

1.2 Embedded Multidimensional Table Format

Displays specific content and can be directly edited on the table. The advantage of the embedded multidimensional table is that you can add more rich content and layouts on its parent page; but in the independent page of the multidimensional table, you can only process the table content, and it is not supported to add other blocks above and below the table.

1.3 Add Comments

Since multidimensional table pages can only hold table content, when you need to introduce or explain the table content, you can find "Add Comments" at the top of the multidimensional table page. Supports entering simple text information, adjusting text styles, adding hyperlinks. This comment content will also be displayed on the sharing page.

Adding Attributes

Attributes are shared across all views. You can set whether to display or hide attributes in the current view under "View Settings" - "Attributes".

In FlowUs multi-dimensional tables, you can create up to 18 attributes from the following types. Of course, you can also convert already created attributes to other attribute types.

  1. Text Attribute: Used to input text-based content, supports rich text, @personnel, @time and time reminders.
  2. Number Attribute: Used to input integers, decimals, Chinese yuan, percentages, etc., or for progress/score management. Enter the number attribute column menu, you can set the different formats of numbers, and at the same time, you can also change the display style to achieve a more intuitive progress and score display.
  3. Checkbox Attribute: Used to tick each row of records for quick marking.
  4. Radio Attribute: Used to label each row of records with a single tag, marking different states.
  5. Multiple Choice Attribute: Used to label each row of records with multiple tags, marking different states.
  6. Date Attribute: Used to input specific dates and times, set reminders.
  7. Personnel Attribute: Used to input member names and send notifications.
  8. File Media Attribute: Used to upload various file types of attachments, switch to the gallery view to view the large picture effect.
  9. URL Link Attribute: Used to input hyperlinks, quickly jump to specific websites.
  10. Email Attribute: Used to input email addresses, quickly send emails.
  11. Phone Attribute: Used to input phone numbers, quickly call numbers.
  12. Formula Attribute: Use formula functions to calculate the value of the original attribute, and get a new result value.
  13. Associated Attribute: Used to cross-table associate records, achieving the effect of connecting multiple multi-dimensional table records.
  14. Summary Attribute: Used to display and count the attribute values of associated records. Using summary attributes requires specifying an associated attribute in the same multi-dimensional table, and specifying the attribute column of the associated records to be summarized, as well as the summary method.
  15. Creation Time: The creation time of this record. Cannot be manually modified.
  16. Creator: The creator of this record. Cannot be manually modified.
  17. Edit Time: The last time this record was edited. Automatically follow the last submission time to update. Cannot be manually modified.
  18. Editor: The last editor of this record. Automatically follow the last submitter to update. Cannot be manually modified.

Create and Manage Records

3.1 Create a Blank Record

You can add a new record from the blue Create button in the upper-right corner or the Create Record button at the bottom of the multidimensional table.

3.2 Create a Record from a Template

3.2.1 Create a Template Record

When you need to create a record in the form of a template, you can click on the drop-down menu next to Create, establishing the template library of the current multidimensional table. Left picture.

After clicking Create, you will enter the template record editing page under the current multidimensional table (the top bar will have a gray banner prompt at this time). The page title of this template is the template title, and you can directly enter the content framework of the template, storing it in real-time without manual confirmation. Right picture.

3.2.2 Manage Template Records

Each multidimensional table can create multiple template records, and you can modify the templates in real-time.

3.2.3 Choose a Template to Create a New Record

After configuring the template records, when creating a multidimensional table, you can click on the drop-down menu next to Create and choose a template to create; or create a blank record and choose a template in the pre-configured functions to create.

Of course, you can also browse the interesting page content in the template library on a blank record to create.

3.3 Record Page Menu

Find the menu entry on the record page or right-click the mouse. Support creating a new record at a specified location, deleting, copying a copy, copying a link, and moving the record page, etc.
